The ADA was signed into law on July 26,
1990. It contains requirements for new construction, for alterations
or renovations to buildings and facilities, and for improving
access to existing facilities of private companies providing
goods or services to the public.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga, in making an effort to assist
all our citizens and visitors, has made the following Mission
Statement: "The City of Rancho Cucamonga will ensure
that its programs, services, and facilities are accessible
to all members of and visitors to the community,"
With this Mission Statement in place, the ADA Consultant
Team initiated Phase I of our ADA Compliance Program, encompassing
programs, activities, and activities associated with City
recreational facilities.

City's ongoing
efforts to comply with not only the letter, but the spirit,
