Linda Daniels, Assistant City Manager 
Linda Daniels has been responsible for planning, redevelopment and economic development strategies and overseeing their implementation for the City of Rancho Cucamonga since 1986. During her tenure with the City/Redevelopment Agency, Linda has directed or participated in the development of more than $450 million in public improvement projects including the Civic Center and Public Safety facility, several fire stations, the City’s public libraries and many workforce housing projects.
Linda was directly involved with a highly successful public-private partnership, the Victoria Gardens Regional Town Center, which opened in 2004. This award-winning, 1.3-million-square-foot destination provides a wide range of shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural opportunities for the community and the region. The success of this partnership has further defined Rancho Cucamonga as the place to live, work and play in the Inland Empire.
In addition to serving as Assistant City Manager, Linda most recently served as Deputy City Manager for Community and Economic Development, overseeing Building and Safety; Engineering; Planning; Public Works and the Redevelopment Agency. She has also served as interim Administrative Services Director on several occasions during her tenure in Rancho Cucamonga. As one of the founding participants and co-leaders of the Team RC Practical Vision Learning Team, she is highly committed to the City's ongoing organizational development efforts to move the organization to the next level of excellence.
Linda received a bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. She has served for more than 30 years in the public sector.
