Since 2007 Burrtec Waste Industries has been the single franchised waste hauler for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, and has been responsible for providing recycling, refuse, and green waste services for residents, commercial and industrial customers.  Burrtec Waste Industries is the only business permitted to haul solid waste in the City of Rancho Cucamonga.  Per Sect. 8.19.051 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code, no unauthorized collection containers are allowed.

Recently, Burrtec Waste Industries has begun replacing diesel fueled vehicles with natural gas vehicles that will significantly reduce particulate matter and other pollutants that contribute to poor air quality.  A total of six natural gas collection vehicles are already operating within the City and Burrtec has agreed to replace all diesel-fueled collection vehicles operating in Rancho Cucamonga within the next three years.

Burrtec Waste Industries observes the following holidays, delaying service by one day:

					January 1 - New Year's Day				September - Labor Day
					May - Memorial Day				November - Thanksgiving Day
					July 4th - Independence Day				December 25 - Christmas Day
