• If reserving a park shelter, user must have a copy of the approved Park Reservation Form on site during their reservation time. An application fee is included with your rental fees; however, in the event of cancellation at any time, the application fee is withheld. A fourteen-day cancellation notice is required for full refunds (less the application fee).

• Reservation applicant MUST remain in attendance for the entire period of the reservation.

• Special Equipment Use: An approved reservation contract and proof of required insurance is needed for the use of special equipment (i.e. Moon Bounce) and can only be used at one of our eleven reservable parks. These parks include Beryl Park West, Coyote Canyon, Day Creek, Etiwanda Creek, Garcia, Heritage, Hermosa, Milliken, Mountain View, Red Hill and Victoria Arbors.

• A $25 Moonbounce and Inflatable Recreation Equipment Fee (i.e. bounce houses, laser tag, etc.) is required if using this type of equipment during your reservation.

• Applicant must provide a generator for specialty equipment (inflatables, snow cone machine, etc). The City of Rancho Cucamonga will not provide a generator or power supply for specialty equipment.

• Parks are available for reservation from 6:00 a.m. until dusk. However, restrooms may not be opened until 8:00 a.m. Also, be aware that park maintenance may be going on (i.e. park mowing, sprinklers in operation, etc.).

• Reservations are for picnic shelters, special event areas and athletic fields. Certain areas and activities (such as use of amplified sound) may require additional forms and fees. Playgrounds, parking lots and similar general public amenities cannot be reserved and are open for the general use of all park users.

A copy of the full Park Reservation Policy is available for review at the Community Services Department Administrative Office or at any of the Community Centers.

• Park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Any individual or group, whether holding a reservation or not, may be denied the use of a picnic area if the condition of the picnic area warrants or the group is in violation of any ordinance, rules or regulations set forth by the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

• The use of special equipment (for example tents, or gazebos) needs to be approved in advance by the Community Services Department.

• Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any City of Rancho Cucamonga park.

• Smoking is not permitted in any City of Rancho Cucamonga park.

• The use of polystyrene (styrofoam) is not permitted in any City of Rancho Cucamonga park.

• Pony rides, dunk tanks, and water slides are not permitted in any City of Rancho Cucamonga park.

• Only existing park equipment can be used for barbecues at the park. No portable or personal barbecues are allowed.

• The City of Rancho Cucamonga may assign a maximum load limit to individual picnic areas to preclude excessive impact on a park or neighborhood. Groups may be required to share park space.

• No public address system or amplified music may be used without prior approval by the Community Services Department. All sound must be within the legal bounds of the Municipal Code which states the amplified sound cannot be heard more than 50 feet from event(approximately 65 decimals).

• Signs, banners, or decorations, set up before event day, must be requested in advance. All masking tape, string, streamers and similar decorations must be thoroughly removed during the clean-up process.

• Please clean up the park area and deposit trash into cans provided. Bring extra trash bags if you anticipate a lot of trash.

• Motorized vehicles are allowed in parking lots only. No vehicles are allowed on any other park surfaces (i.e. grass areas) at any time. This includes trucks and cars used for the unloading and loading of supplies.
