Volunteer Rabbit SocializerIf you are eighteen years of age or older and are interested in becoming part of our Volunteer Program please follow the below steps. 

  1. Complete and submit an on-line City Volunteer Application.
  2. Fill out and sign the Waiver of Liability form and return it to Mia Herrera in the Community Services Department located at City Hall.
  3. Attend a mandatory volunteer orientation (offered four times a year at various City locations).  
  4. After the orientation, you will be given a copy of the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center Volunteer Manual.  Please sign the last page of the manual and return it to the Volunteer Coordinator at the orientation. 
  5. Sign up for one-to-one training sessions (dates and times of training sessions will be provided at the orientation).  
  6. Please be advised that if you are volunteering for a position that deals with children, transportation or money MUST be fingerprinted by the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department and Administrative Services and cleared with the Department of Justice BEFORE BEGINNING volunteer service (no cost to volunteer).
